Clam Terms of Use

By downloading or using Clam you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Clam does

Clam uses Apple's Screen Time framework to restrict access to apps you select, for a period you start. It is a tool to support your own choices. It is not a security product and does not guarantee that restrictions cannot be bypassed, for example by deleting the app or changing Screen Time settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Clam offers auto-renewing subscriptions (yearly and monthly) and a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through Apple's App Store.
• A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Acceptable use

Use Clam only on devices you own or are permitted to manage, for your own personal use. Do not use it to restrict another person's device without their consent.

No warranty

Clam is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including missed notifications or restrictions that did not apply.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
